Colossians 2:7

Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him.  Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.

As we seek to grow closer to the Lord through prayer and reading his word our faith in his promises will keep us as strong roots keep a tree from falling when the winds of life blow. May we overflow with thankfulness to you always, Lord.
