Philemon 14

But I didn’t want to do anything without your consent.  I wanted you to help because you were willing, not because you were forced. Philemon 14 NLT

Just as Paul didn’t want to force Philemon to do something but wanted him to want to help of his own will, God won’t force us to do something.  He gives us the opportunity to say yes but we have to be the one to say “yes, Lord I am willing.”
