Ephesians 3:20 NKJV
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”

God is not limited by what limits us. His resources are unlimited. His power is unlimited. His ability is unlimited.

So many times we look at situations through the natural realm. We see bills, problems, pressure, weakness, closed doors, or impossible circumstances and begin to think there is no way through. But heaven never runs out. God is never trying to figure out how He is going to provide. He is never surprised by what comes into our lives.

The Lord already knows every need before we even ask. He already has the answer prepared. The question is not whether God has enough power — the question is whether we are allowing His power to work within us.

Ephesians 3:20 says He is able to do “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think,” but it also says it happens “according to the power that works in us.” God’s power must be allowed to flow through yielded hearts. When we surrender to Him, trust Him, and obey Him, we position ourselves for His strength and provision to operate in our lives.

Sometimes we limit God because we only look at what we can accomplish naturally. We try to reason everything out in our minds instead of believing by faith. But God specializes in doing what seems impossible.

A disciple learns to trust God beyond what they can see. Even when circumstances say one thing, faith says God is still able. Faith says the breakthrough already exists in the spirit before it manifests in the natural.

Today, stop measuring your situation against your own strength. Measure it against the unlimited resources of heaven.

Reflection Questions:

  1. In what areas have I been limiting God by focusing only on natural circumstances?
  1. What would change if I truly believed God’s resources were unlimited in my life?
