Isaiah 1:19 NKJV

"If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;"

There are two parts: willing and obedient.

You can be willing and still not obey.

You can say, Lord, I’ll serve You. I’ll go where You want me to go. I’ll do what You want me to do. But then when God says, Go here, we can answer, I don’t think it’s time yet.

That is where we miss the obedience part.

Everybody wants to know the will of God, but we have to make sure our heart is in the will of God first. Then we can hear and do what His will is.

God is blowing on people’s hearts to light a fire on the inside of them to do His will and fulfill His purpose in their life. But it starts with keeping a pure, holy, open, and humble heart.

Humility realizes we do not know everything. Humility stays surrendered. Humility remains submitted.

If God is speaking something to you, it may look too big. It may be something you have never done before. God will always call you to do things that take faith.

But when God speaks it, He already knows what is needed to get it done.

Our part is to say yes, stay humble, and obey.

Challenge today:
Ask God, “Is there anything You have spoken to me that I have delayed obeying?” Then take the next step He shows you and don't delay!
