Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God…”
We live in a world that rewards busyness.
Do more. Achieve more. Stay busy. Stay productive.
But God says something completely different:
Be still.
That doesn’t come naturally. Being still means letting go—of thoughts, pressure, expectations, and even the need to figure everything out.
To “know” God isn’t just information—it’s relationship. It’s learning Him, experiencing Him, recognizing Him.
And that only happens when we slow down.
Sometimes the reason we feel distant from God isn’t because He moved—it’s because we never stopped long enough to notice He was there.
You don’t have to earn His presence.
You just have to make room for it.
When you quiet everything else, you begin to recognize what’s been there all along—God speaking, God leading, God loving you.
