Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

God’s grace, your faith.

Grace is the gift. Faith is what receives it.

Grace has nothing to do with what we can do in our own ability. It is not about trying harder, praying harder, fasting longer, or performing better. Grace is unearned favor, and it comes through believing on Jesus Christ.

Your faith in Christ is the avenue that brings forth the grace of God. Wherever you believe in Christ, grace is made available.

If Christ is not the center, there is no grace. But when we trust Jesus, there is supernatural power and favor that comes upon our lives to do what God has called us to do.

We are to walk by faith, not by sight. If we are walking by faith, that means we are receiving the grace of God as we walk.

Do not get into a place where you are relying on your own ability. Do not do life in familiarity. Do it in faith.

Your business, your family, your calling, your decisions, your ministry, and your everyday life all need the grace of God. And grace is available wherever faith is released.

Here’s a challenge for you today: Ask yourself, am I doing this in my own ability, or am I trusting Jesus? Choose to put your faith back in Him and let His grace flow into that area.
