Jeremiah 20:9 NKJV

“Then I said, ‘I will not make mention of Him, nor speak anymore in His name.’ But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not.”

When you meditate strongly on the Word of God, it becomes like fire shut up in your bones.

You do not have to be a preacher to have fire shut up in your bones. You just have to be ministered to. When you get filled, you become an offering where you pour out to people.

Meditation is one of the keys to getting so full of God and getting the mind of Christ that you can go into every situation knowing God has you.

You keep meditating on the Word until you become convinced. Come hell or high water, Jesus is my Savior. Come hell or high water, He is coming back again for me. You meditate on the Word until you know who you are, who He is, and what He has said.

When you meditate on Scripture, more Scripture begins to build upon Scripture—line upon line. The Word gets deeper on the inside of you, your perspective shifts, and you begin to see situations differently.

When you get filled with the Word, you have something to pour out. “Give me someone to preach to. Give me somebody to lay hands on. Give me someone to encourage.”

Here’s a challenge for you today:

Don’t just read the Word and move on. Take one verse and stay with it. Speak it until it gets down on the inside of you. Let the Word fill you until what God says becomes stronger than everything around you.
