Freedom by Grace

John 8:36 NKJV
Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

The Word of God is our spiritual declaration of independence. When you declare it, you have spiritual independence.

The Constitution gives us freedom in the natural, but it is the Word of God that gives us freedom in the spiritual. That is what makes the church different. That is what makes the believer different.

Freedom has a cost. Blood was shed by soldiers to bring freedom to this nation, but the blood of Jesus was shed to bring freedom to mankind.

Freedom has a fight. Our fight is the fight of faith. We do not war against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. The fight of faith brings freedom to your life.

Freedom has vision. As believers, we have to see beyond the natural and have a vision of heaven, a vision of eternity, and a heart for those who are lost.

Freedom has a voice, and His name is Jesus. When we speak Jesus, freedom is released. Darkness has to move. Bondage has to break. The name of Jesus demands a response.

True freedom is found in Christ alone. When you find Him, you find true life. When you find true life, you find true freedom.

Here’s a challenge for you today: Speak the name of Jesus over the area where you need freedom. Let His Word be your declaration, and let faith rise in your heart.
