2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT
Each time he said, My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.
Grace is not something we can earn, buy, or perform our way into. Grace is from God. It has nothing to do with our physical ability, our intellect, or our performance.
Grace is divine influence upon the heart that reflects in life.
That means God works in the heart first, and then His grace begins to show up in the way we live, the way we speak, the way we believe, and the way we respond.
No matter what we are facing, there is a grace that is sufficient for what we are going through. It is all-encompassing. It is exactly what is needed for that particular moment.
When we face trials, there is grace available. When we face persecution, there is grace available. When we are standing in the middle of a decision and do not know what step to take, there is grace available.
Put the Lord in the midst of your decision. He will give you the grace to make the right step, and you will not misstep in the grace of God.
Many people do not step because they are afraid they will misstep. But you need to lift your foot to be able to make a step.
Trust God. His grace is enough.
Here’s a challenge for you today: Bring one area of your life before the Lord where you have been trying to figure everything out on your own. Release your faith, trust Jesus, and receive the grace He has already made available.
