Ephesians 1:4-5 NLT
“Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ.”
Before God made the world, He loved you and chose you in Christ.
That means you were not an afterthought. You were not a mistake. You were not overlooked.
You are chosen by Almighty God.
God does not operate like a volleyball game where captains choose people, and someone is always picked last. With God, everybody is on the same playing field.
You are chosen.
And when you understand that you are chosen, you begin to look at your life totally different.
It is not about what you have done for man. It is about what God placed in you.
When you realize Who chose you, it washes away the doubt, the guilt, the shame, the worry, the fear, the lack, and the excuses.
God chose you because He sees the potential. He knows who you are. He knows what He placed inside of you.
You may look at your life and see limitations, but God sees far beyond what you see.
The enemy wants you to focus on what you feel, what you lack, and what you think you cannot do. But God sees purpose. God sees calling. God sees His plan.
You are here for such a time as this.
You are not here just to take up space. God has placed you here in this generation, in this time, with purpose.
So do not let the enemy tell you that you are not good enough, that you cannot be used, or that your life will always stay the same.
Raise your eyes to Jesus and say, “There is something God has for me greater than just this physical realm, greater than what I feel, greater than what I think, and I am going to receive it in Jesus’ name.”
So here’s a challenge for you today:
Stop seeing yourself through the limitations of your past.
Start seeing yourself as chosen in Christ.
Say this today:
I am chosen.
I am loved.
I am part of God’s family.
I am here for such a time as this.
And I will fulfill the purpose God placed in me.
