Matthew 5:6 KJV
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

God fills every hungry heart.

Here are some simple steps for being filled.

First, desire God. Hunger matters. Hungry people move. If we are spiritually hungry, we will go after God.

Second, ask in faith. The Father gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.

Third, repent if necessary. Sometimes we have to remove what is blocking the flow.

Fourth, surrender control. God fills yielded vessels. We cannot be full of self and full of the Spirit at the same time.

Fifth, thank Him. Thank Him for filling you, loving you, and seeing purpose in you.

God fills us before we fulfill what He has called us to do. The water pot is filled before it waters the plants. The gas tank is filled before the vehicle moves. We are filled before we walk out the plans and purposes of God.

Even if you do not know the fullness of God’s will for your life yet, be filled first. Direction comes as we are filled. Wisdom comes as we are filled. Strength comes as we are filled.

Desire Him. Ask Him. Yield to Him. Thank Him. And receive what He has for you.
