John 15:8 (KJV) – “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”
Gifts attract attention. Fruit proves discipleship. It’s possible to be gifted and not mature. It’s possible to be talented and not transformed. But Disciples bear fruit. Love. Joy. Peace. Faithfulness. Consistency. Fruit doesn’t grow overnight. It grows through daily surrender, daily obedience, daily abiding. And when fruit is produced, God gets the glory — not you. A true disciple doesn’t seek applause. They seek “Well done.”
Reflection Questions:
• What fruit is being produced in your life right now?
• Where do you need more consistency?
• Are you more focused on gifts — or character?
• If someone examined your life, what fruit would they see?
