Acts 4:31 NLT
After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.

When God fills someone, something comes with it.
Peter was filled with the Holy Ghost, and boldness came. The men chosen to serve in Acts 6 were full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom. Stephen was full of the Holy Ghost and saw the glory of God. Barnabas was full of the Holy Ghost and faith, and many people were impacted through his life.
There is always purpose connected to the filling.
God may fill you with boldness for a conversation you need to have. He may fill you with wisdom for a decision. He may fill you with joy when you have been heavy. He may fill you with peace when everything around you looks uncertain. He may fill you with faith to step into something you have never done before.
God does not fill us just so we can hold it. He fills us so there is overflow. There are blessings in you that other people need. There are prayers in you, words in you, encouragement in you, gifts in you, and obedience in you that God wants to use to bless someone else.
God wants to use you, not abuse you. He fills you so you can release what He has placed inside of you.
Reflection Questions:
1.    What has God placed in me that may be meant to bless someone else?
2.    Do I believe God can fill me with what I need for what He has called me to do?
