Romans 4:25
“Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”
The resurrection proves your sin has been fully dealt with. Jesus didn’t just cover sin—He removed it. A pardon means the offense is gone as if it never happened. That’s how God sees you through Jesus. The struggle is not what God has done—it’s how we still see ourselves. Many believers live trying to earn forgiveness, when the truth is they’ve already been forgiven.
Ephesians 2:8
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
You can’t earn salvation—you receive it by faith. It’s a gift. The resurrection of Jesus made that gift available for you to receive. You’re not an old sinner trying to do better. You’re a new creation learning to live in what’s already been done.
When you truly receive that, you begin to walk and talk differently because your past no longer defines you. The accusations of the enemy lose their voice—you don’t respond to them anymore because you know who you are in Christ.
The resurrection didn’t just give you a second chance—it gave you a new identity.
