Ephesians 1:4
“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.”

Purity isn’t something you work toward—it’s something you start with in Christ.

When you receive Jesus, you are made new. God doesn’t see a cleaned-up version of your old life—He sees you holy and without blame through His Son.

The challenge isn’t becoming pure. The challenge is believing that you already are. That’s where discipleship comes in. Your spirit has been made new, but your mind has to be renewed to match what God has already done in you.

As you grow in the Word, your thinking begins to change. And as your thinking changes, your life begins to reflect that purity. You don’t live pure to become accepted. You live pure because you already are accepted.

This is a process—not perfection, but transformation. Day by day, you begin to look less like the old you and more like who God says you are.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Do I see purity as something I’m trying to achieve or something I’ve received?
  2. What thoughts or habits need to change to align with who God says I am?
