Scripture: Isaiah 40:31 - “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they
shall walk, and not faint.”

• Prayer Focus: Pray for strength and resilience for first responders and healthcare
workers across America, that they are sustained as they serve others. For Maryland’s
emergency personnel and healthcare providers, ask for protection, wisdom, and grace
in all situations they face and that they are shielded from the effects of trauma and
PTSD. Especially in Queen Anne’s, Caroline, Talbot and Kent Counties, pray for
firefighters, police, EMTs, nurses, and doctors, asking that God strengthens and
encourages them daily.
