2 Corinthians 5:18 NLT
“And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.”

You may ask, do I really have a ministry?

Yes, but it may not be the ministry you think it is.

We are all called to the ministry of reconciliation. That never just starts behind a pulpit, and you may never stand behind a pulpit. But it does start with bringing people back to God.

Reconcile means to bring back to the original state. Jesus came to reconcile us, to bring us back to full relationship and clarity with our Heavenly Father. No sin, no separation, no deception, no lie, no cloudiness, no worry, no fear. Back to relationship with God.

And now God has given us this task.

If you are wondering where to start in your purpose, start there. God has given you the ministry of helping people come back to Him through Jesus Christ.

But before that ministry works through you, it has to work in you. You have to be reconciled to God before you can help others be reconciled to God.

Your purpose is not just to work, pay bills, and survive. Your purpose is higher in God than it is in the world. You have a part to play in the body of Christ.

If you are a child of God, you are in His body.

And if you are in His body, God has purpose for your life.

Challenge today:
Look for one person you can help point back to God today. It may be through a word, an encouragement, prayer, or simply showing the love of Jesus.
